A man gets out of prison and is given a Key to a storage unit where what was left over from a past now brunt away, all because of that one dark Christmas EVE. That day when it all went wrong and he was the only one left to blame. He told them all what happened but no one would believe him. The Doctors said it wasn’t real and he made it all up to deal with what he had done. But Today is a new day and its finally over, there is no reason to look back and like the doctors said it all about looking forward.
Most of the things where lost in the fire but there was a good amount of left over item to be gone through in this storage unit. For years, these item have not be touched. The money he inherited kept this place paid for and safe. As he goes through the items the smell of his old life is let out into the world no longer locked into the totes. He sees family pictures and things from his room. He was just a kid when That Christmas EVE went up in flames. Some of the item still smell like fire. His Emotions are run high and painful at times at all that he has lost, a loving family his future. But after the last 15 years in jail he need to be reminded of the life he lost and the face of those he loved now fading from memory.
As the memory’s return so do the Doubts, they fill his mind over the doctors claims. The Doctors said it was him but he remembers it so different he remembers the Christmas tree. It all started with that Christmas tree and that one ornament. It was funny the Ornament was not new but no one knew where it came from. NO one knew even how it got on the tree. It had this red liquid inside that was always moving and floating through this clear liquid. He was a kid and it looked so cool. He knew he shouldn’t touch it but it was calling to him. He remembers touching it and it suddenly falling and smashing on the floor and this red mist filled the room. Soon all the party goers and his entire family were all hitting each other. They were going to kill each other. He had to stop it, he had to. He thought throwing the candle on the ground would make them stop and put the fire out he started. He was only a kid only 9. They didn’t stop the fire and just kept fighting even as they began to burn. The flesh melted off their skin. He had to run he had to save himself. It was not his fault so many died. They just kept fighting he sobs out loud and slams to the floor knocking over a tote and all the contents spill out. He wipes his tears from his and stand up. He walks over to the box and begin to clean up the mess when he suddenly scream NOOOOOO and Runs out of the storage room. We see on the floor mixed with random holiday item like Easter eggs and a Halloween pumpkin, a Christmas ornament with a red liquid moving thought a clear liquid inside of it.
