Here at WrittenSiNs, we are all about getting people to look at creative projects and to promote people and their art. Sometimes we get asked to showcase something that the person had no permission to share or worse was someone who used the item(s) they took and claimed to own. It is out Standing policy to remove anything without Question. Once that is done from that point on we will need to verify the person(s) who gave it to us and will not share anything from them without a Written Statement of rights or ownership.
We are deeply saddened that people take things or even worse assume identities not their own. We are a Site that supports others and only share things we are asked to by who we think has the right to do so or get permission from who we think is the rights owner. Sometimes we are made aware of theft or art and photos other times people share things not realizing the implications. Other times its infighting or people sharing something they weren’t allowed to. No matter once flagged we remove it from the site. While we do not have a blacklist we never forget names, especially ones that cause us to have to deal with these type of issues. So if you don’t have permission don’t share it, and do not pretend to be someone you are not.
