FAVORITE COMIC BOOK:
Growing up:
X-Men, WildCATs and Cyber Force jolted me heavily.
and now:
A few years ago I was really into Exiles and Runaways. Nowadays, indie comics appeal to me. Like 4Horsefemmes (Stuart Black), Roll Players (Derek Chua), Super! (Zach Dolan), Earthling (Dave Brink) and Argo5 (Dan Sehn).
The 1 Superpower you want:
Well, as cheesy as this may sound, I’d like to have a Healing Touch power and heal people afflicted with the world’s ailments.
Location:
Nagoya, Japan (city of 2 million people) but born & raised in sunny Fresno, California

Your Credits:
I’m still working my way up. So far, I’ve worked on Dave Brink’s Earthling 1, Earthling 2 and Earthling 3 from Genuine Comics.
What are you most proud of being a creative part of?
Right now, I’m doing coloring work in comics. I also draw and ink but coloring has come alive in me. I’m improving everyday which feels good. So at this moment, coloring comics fill me with newfound satisfaction.
What Indie Title are you currently a huge fan of?
Currently, I’m a big fan of Stuart Black’s 4Horsefemmes. It’s about four female heroes in Australia. Funny, whimsical and action packed. The artwork matches the mood and characters of the story perfectly. Really enjoying it.
Where do you see your project being in 5 years is it just a comic or something more?
Tough question! I see my comic, Ajax, being in its 12th issue with a solid indie fan base. And I see myself doing color work for some mainstream comic companies like IDW, Darkhorse, Image, etc.,.
Is sexuality focused on too much in comic books?
Personally, I don’t think it’s a problem. I don’t want comics aimed at kids to be over-sexualized of course. But, a little makes the comics interesting.
What is the hardest part of making a comic that leads to the most moments of anger?
Probably the early stages when the designs are messy and not clear. Feels like a colossal task and not working out. Hard feeling, but later, when it all comes together, satisfaction surges through my soul.
You are given a chance to kill any superhero every created just cause you can, Who Dies?
Well, Superman and Captain America have already had that fate in comics, so I’ll have to choose someone else. So, with creative freedom, I’d kill off the Silver Surfer. That would cause a major dilemma with Galactus returning to Earth. Make for fun storytelling.
What is a mistake you made in your early years that our readers can learn form ?
Definitely get proactive in promoting yourself. Don’t be shy to show your stuff. Make stuff and show it around. Social media is a good platform now. I was shy and it hindered my chances of breaking in at an earlier age.
Well done! Tell us whats Next and do feel free to enjoy the Sin of Self promotion :
“I’m currently working on Earthling #3 from Genuine Comics. It’s created by Dave Brink an features an superhero dealing with environmental issues. He’s a more aggressive Captain Planet type character. I’m also working on my own book called AJAX Awakening which is about a powerful titan in search of redemption from past evil deeds. However, that which he seeks is filled with treacherous obstacles that threaten his resolve and retribution. So come join me for fun stories and art, and to feel part of the growth of characters in the comic book world.”
