The7Deadly   Questions

So many Creators come and Go in the indie circuit what is your secret to your staying power and still being an important  part of the con circuit up north?
The Key to relevance is Quality, Consistency and Travel

What Indie Title are you currently a huge fan of?
SALVAGERS by Bob Salley

What is a  Project you have a huge need to work on??
All of my projects always need work, constantly.  I feed the project that requires attention at the time.  Right Now it’s Clark & Five.

Is sexuality focused on too much in comic books?
In some ways too much, and others not enough. It should be less about the marketing to sexuality and more about making a commentary on the subject.

What is the worst thing a Villain can do to a Hero?
 Make them Irrelevant

What character should be a house hold name that is being held back for some reason and why them?
He May already be a Household name, but I say Optimus Prime is owed some due.  For the reason that he’s been gravely misrepresented since the 80s incarnation of the character, where now he is seen an a noble engine of violence, in the classic 80s animated series he was a Leader and Captain, who fought in favor of the boundaries of morality and was the purveyor of the difference between right and wrong.

What is a mistake you made in your early years that our readers can learn form?
Keep your Creative heart open and respect your collaborators.

Well done  you have a single paragraph to tell us why we should become fans  and what you are working on now :
“Well the best reason to follow me would be not for my work but the effort I bring to showcasing the artists I work with on my books.  All of the illustrators I collaborate with are of the utmost quality.  Joseph Arnold on SARTANA, Joe Martinez on Surrounded by Death, Eugen Betivu did colors on both, and Chris Liryo on Clark & Five.  They produce fantastic pages that match my written work magnificently.  For that alone, I suggest following along, and you may find you actually enjoy the storylines too. “-John Cavooto
