are pissed they thought you were bring pot so you all could get high….
What about your work makes you stand out in the crowd of creators?
I write really, really fast. Lol.
What is you dream run on a comic series?
I’d love to write The Punisher. I’m not a fan of Marvel at all (or DC for that matter), but The Punisher was the first comic I ever read and it’s been a dream to write it.
Do we address drug addiction, depression and disease properly in Comics?
Probably not. But if you want realism, you should read books, not comics. I don’t read comics for their take on social issues. I read them so I don’t have to think about social issues. That’s just me, though. Lol.
Is sex over sold in comics?
I don’t think so. Maybe I just don’t notice or I don’t read a lot of titles with sex themes. I think it was much worse in the 90s, so I guess we’re making progress.
What feedback that you have gotten has made you mad?
I try not to get mad at anything, because people are entitled to their opinion, but there’s a podcast that did a review of my comic, Ghoul Squad. They said the way the artist drew Transylvania wasn’t realistic.

My thought was “You mean the fictional story about a vampire, a Frankenstein, a witch, a half-man/ half-bat and a hunchback fighting a werewolf isn’t “realistic” enough for you?”
But what really made me mad was when they said the artist should go to Europe to see what it looks like. Apparently they didn’t realize our artist, Carlos Trigo, lives in Spain. Very ignorant.
What are your top three goals in creating?
1. Figure out a way to make enough writing comics that I don’t have to work a day job.
2. Publish more comics than any idea creator in Canada
3. Write The Punisher!
What is the worst villain created and should be nothing more than a simple henchman ?
That’s a hard one! Maybe Lex Luthor. He’s such a popular villain, but he’s kind of boring for the most part. I always preferred seeing Superman go toe-to-toe with someone tough, not a super-smart businessman. I don’t think Lex Luthor would work well as a henchman, though. Lol.
While The 7 Deadly Questions are still made about not getting hight they are willing to let you slide for now, but now this when you meet again bring the pot Brandon Rhiness. Till than enjoy the Sin of Self Promotion:
