This was the year STAN LEE came to see us one last time…. and BOY was it a Sendoff. The COSPLAY was at THE NEXT level with over the top creativity. We will be sharing the amazing CosViews we captured in the coming weeks. The Appearances and the Panels felt very personal unlike most other Cons in other Cites. There was just a feeling like you were in the room with friends, not celebrities. Credit must be given to the Staff and security for keeping the peace and maintaining the safety of guest with solid security. We can report that people were removed who did try to cheat the system as they should be.
The Fans this year seemed to be less excited about FAN ART both here and at other conventions. We Asked a Few fans about something Martin Dunn said at his PANEL DIY: PUNK HOUSE “You only have so much room on your wall for Fanart” and the Fans we spoke to agreed. There seems to have been a bubble that popped on fan art. KASEY PEIRCE 
who was the last min Draw for Source Point Press Sold out of many titles and other Creators of original Comics like Stabbity Bunny Creator Richard Rivera who was at our table hanging out with us also reported great sales of STABITTY BUNNY. Sinsful Comics made its 1st ever appearance and we shared a table with them and saw 1st hand how excitement fans were over new content and title Like FETISH BABIES. 
Jesse Hansen Corner Stones new BluePrint also got people very excited.
We also heard that Shepherd Creator Andrea Lorenzo Molinari also reported strong sales as did other Creators like Jenni Gregory who also reported good sales. So at Megacon and from what we hear from other Cons original Comics books sales are on the rise as Fan Art is declining. We will watch closely and be taking measurements with fellow creators to see if this trend continues.
The celebrities were Vast and the Singing Section was massive and was well staffed. Once in a Lifetime moments where achieved. Alyssa Andersin, in fact, got to meet MEAT LOAF and was all blush for it. Rob Andersin got to Hang out with Greg Capullo and Scott Snyder at an amazing Fan Experience that MegaCon offered its fans.
The number of people that showed up begged for more Space and we hope to see the Convention continue to Expand. We would suggest to not only MEGA Con but all other conventions adapting a one-way traffic flow for lanes to help people moving. But to the CREDIT of MEGACON Management the Walkways we huge and allowed for easy navigation even during peak times. We had reports that at other cons this year it was impossible to move at times and we do think a traffic flow system would work best for all.
Austin Janowsky also Filmed Dawn and the Dead Web series LIVE at MEGA CON which we will Be Bringing you in the next few days a BEHIND THE SCENES look at. A great Actor, Amazing Creator and such a Cool moment for us to get to cover. 
The Food Areas where well maintained and spread out making it easy to grab a bite and sit for a quick meal between Events, panels, Singings or checking out Artist Alley. Which we really Hope will be renamed CREATOR ALLEY in the next few Years. Another Suggestion we heard mentioned was Fans Want a separation of themes: Sections with Comic Creator and Artist separated from vendors. We did see people selling Jeweler and other nick nacks in Artist alley which did seem out of place for Artist Alley, however with the number of tables at an event like this it is very difficult to make sections we would think. We would rather see visible numbered lane system possible implemented instead to help visitors navigate artist alley and the entire con floor. Like Street Signs at the end of ever alley. But that goes for all events. this is, of course, easier said than done.
Over All MEGACON Delivers one of the Better FAN Experiences in the World. There is care taken and thought put into the event that can be seen as you walk through the show. Of course, there will people who see room for improvement and we are sure the Show Runner see it too. EACH YEAR there also changes to what the Fans want. This year will be no different. But for us, as a group that has covered and visited and Covered over 30 cons, we tip our Hat to MEGACON for putting on a GREAT SHOW.
