want to know if you’d make a good Pez Dispenser!!!!!
I use multiple factors when determining what to charge. Size, number of characters, just penciled, penciled and inked, colored, what type of background. This is covered as part of my price list. I also offer multi-piece and military discounts. With this said, artists must determine there prices on there own and adjust if needed.
If there is one project I would love to work on, it would be Moon Knight. I have always liked the character. He shows that heroes are not perfect and have flaws.
I think Fan art is ok to sell as long as it is the artist of the piece selling it. It is not ok if someone is selling work that you are not the artist. I have heard of people who are taking someone’s work and making a small change to it and calling it their own. This is not right. Artists put many hours into their work and deserve the credit and dividends from it.
Unfortunately I do not read many comics today, so it is hard for me to answer this one. From what I can see, mainly with Marvel and DC, it is hard to determine if they are mirroring anything with all the reboots. But it looks like Marvel is trying to do something different by introducing diversity, which was needed, but instead of making major changes to historic characters, new ones should have been introduced.
I think the worst thing someone has said about my work was a two page rejection letter. I handled it like I would suggest to any artist to do, learn from it. I broke down the letter to what the editor said I needed to work on and started at the top and made sure I focused on those points without forgetting about the things that I did right. Any feedback, no matter, can be seen as a tool to make an artist better.
Do you think sex is used for sales or is sex used in comics because Sex is something on all our minds?
This one is hard to answer, because the answer is both. Sex does sell and for a lot of people sex is on their minds. In my opinion, sex should be used if it enhances the story if not then don’t use it. A lot of TV and movies use sex to get people to watch but the majority of the time it is just that, a hook. Comics are a little different, a lot of the readers read them because of the characters not hooks. If someone reads my book, I want them to enjoy the story and not wait to see sex.
What is your biggest creative fear and does it effect you putting yoourself out there looking for work on new projects??
I am not sure if I have a creative fear that effects me from looking for new projects to work on. Being that my art is not my primary source of income, I have the ability to pick and choose new projects. The main thing I look at when picking new projects is will my style bring something to the story.

As of why or why not to become a fan, that is your decision. Nothing I say, can change that. Currently, I am working on multiple commissions and a creator owned book, called Eromon. The book is about a character that I created about 20 years ago and will be sent out to publishers in the next couple of weeks. In addition to myself, the creative team for Eromon includes writer Joseph A. Michael and inker Kevin Sezgin. In closing, I would like to quote Eromon and say “No More!!!”
