Our exciting series is called The Draconis Project. It’s a science fiction saga the takes place in Downtown Orleans, in the year 2044. This is how it all begins.
Earth was visited over 2000 years ago from an intergalactic being, a messenger from the planet Malsevia. Malsevia is one of many planets that exist in Triversa-Prime which is made up of three galaxies; The Torillian, the Faspian and the Kyklos(Milky Way) galaxy. Malsevia is the oldest known planet to support life and having been inhabited for over one million years. Malsevians are the superior race amongst the planets in Triversa-Prime as well as the guardians of the three galaxies. Their technology is far more advanced than any other planet known in existence.
Their mission has been to visit every planet within the Prime and inconspicuously guide and advise all species throughout their evolutionary cycle. A little over two thousand years ago, the Malsevian council was faced with a terrible prophecy that could destroy their planet as well as all the remaining planets in the Triversa-Prime, the Sect of Chronos had foreseen the Prophecy of the Protector. The Malsevian High Council made a choice to remove the very symbol of their people, the energy source of their well being, the Sphere of Malsevia. The race of Malsevians is generally made up of Lamens, Engineers, Seers and Protectors. Most of the Malsevian children born will be chosen as lamens or engineers. Once every five lunar cycles of Malto-nine a seer and/or a protector is born. These rare births are believed to be from the energy of the sphere.
These unique Malsevian children are usually born blind (Protectors) or without eyes (Seer). Once they are recognized at birth, each of them is exposed directly to the sphere’s internal energy source through a hypnotic-pneumonic ritual. This ritual opens the brain by neural-electro stimulation. The Protectors possess the gift of enhanced reflexes and senses as well as the ability to “see” the internal power of the sphere which no other species can do without permanent blindness or lobotomization. At birth, the Seers endure a barbaric ritual called Malharwa, in which one of the encased ruby stones from the Malsevian chalice of foresight is embedded into the forehead of every chosen seer. Next the child is placed before the sphere to see if they can withstand the overwhelming power of the sphere. Once he or she passes the ritual they will possess the ability to see the future for all of Triversa-Prime by channeling the sphere’s energy through the shard of foresight. For over five thousand years, the Sect of Chronos; the council of Seers, have foretold a prophecy that one day a child will be born with the “sight” as a protector and the “intuition” of a seer. He will also possess an extraordinary ability to channel the sphere’s power back into itself and then release its raw power. The council believes that the prophecy has come true,that a child has been chosen by the sphere. The Malsevian High Council has appointed Maltyrius, the Great Seer of Malsevia, to take the sphere and leave the Torillion galaxy and never to return. The Sphere must never be discovered by the “Chosen One”. Only the Sect of Chronos knows that he will have the ability to follow the energy source of the sphere as long as the heat signature is still visible amongst the dust particles in the galaxy. The Seer’s only choice was to take the sphere far beyond the Torillian Galaxy through the outer rims of the Celestial Void. Light years away, Maltyrius crossed from one galaxy to another and then finally entered the Milky Way galaxy. There he searched for a planet rich in organic minerals and heavy metals, a place where he could hide the sphere. He chose Carbonia aka. (Earth). As Maltyrius passed the planet MARS he encountered an asteroid field that damaged his ship. The gravitational pull of Earth began pulling his ship towards the planet. His shipped crashed in the desert. Before his ship crashed, Maltyrius deployed his escape pod which landed on the other side of the planet. That is where he stayed until he was found.Centuries later, during the second millennia of man, the seer noticed that the sphere had expelled an enormous amount of its energy towards this species. It had opened the minds of five different children of five different races and instilled in them the Malsevian formulas of science and technology. Because of the sphere’s unintended effects on the human children, it became Maltyrius’s duty to secretly watch over them and guide them until the age of adulthood. His only communication with the five children was through their dreams. The five chosen were: Johann Svensen (Swedish), Jung To Lee (Chinese), William Lattimor (American), Tarun Kampoor (Indian), and Kraus Kinner (German). They will one day be the future and survival for the planet of Carbonia a.k.a. EARTH from the Harbinger of Destruction, Malvectus.
Book Eight “Phoenix Reborn” is a 36 page final issue for this series.
Our saga continues.. Will Jokull finally kill McCoy or fail for his fourth and final time. Lygar is ready to settle up on his contract and receive the ultimate prize; immortality. Malvectus will finally meet the young seer from Carbonia. Janjak has defeated G.T.U and has taken over the city of Orleans. McCoy has lost his friend and partner at the agency,Nick Collins, during the attack by the Mamba King, and revenge is the only thing on his mind.The Seer and the Phoenix with the red eyes will meet the Chosen One at last. A new guardian(PHOENIX) is born.
My Journey to create The Draconis Project began six years ago…
Here is the first ever 28 page color inspirational promo comic book that Dan Gracey, Ryan Carter and I made together six years ago. This comic book consists of scripts from books 1 and 2. It was a really cool basic script layout that I was going to use but I wanted to add more to the story to make it more science fiction. This was my first attempt at creating a comic book from a simple script layout, and I have to say, that it wasn’t an easy one. I truly learned about the publishing process and how to create a comic book from pencils to print. I also learned about the legal aspects and the costs it actually takes to put it all together. I am self publishing all of my own comic books instead of paying the big companies to publish them for me… I have just received my first registered trademark which is located at the top of my PROMO comic book(MidCity Comics) and it will appear on all of the books in the Draconis series and the new GROND series.
Now my journey with The Draconis Project has finally come to an end! I want to thank everyone who has worked on this project with me from conception to completion. I first want to thank DAN GRACEY, for helping me create the very first Promo Book. He was the only artist that responded to my call when I was looking for an artist to work on my project back in 2012. He actually taught me a lot about creating comic books and what steps to take to complete a book from pencils to print.
My next BIG SHOUT OUT goes to all of the artists from ED BENES studio that worked hard in creating the artwork for The Draconis Project and GROND series. I have learned that some of the best hidden artists in the world are in BRAZIL. These guys are truly amazing. I am so privileged to have employed all of these thriving young artists to help me create what was once a dream, now turned into a way of life. How the funds are allocated..
All of the funds will pay for the artists for their outstanding work on the project, ex. Penciled pages , covers, coloring pages, and letters. A percentage will go to the necessary charities. The rest will help get these books printed and mailed out to you by the due date as promised!

I have decided to do a TRIBUTE cover of my favorite two upcoming movies, PREDATOR and VENOM. I had the great (STEVEN BUTLER) who is known for the SCARLET SPIDERMAN COSTUME DESIGN, work on DAVON’s Variant Cover C for book eight” Phoenix Reborn”. HE HAS BEEN IN THE INDUSTRY FOR 30 YEARS AND STILL GOING STRONG!! Here he is…
