This week I was made aware through a few message of the news about Scout comics and lunar, none of which came from Scout. As of writing this there has been no statement made by the publisher.
I posted the article to Scout creators and and asked did anyone see this yet.
Many creators wrote their concerns on the post and on going frustration with scout on their lack of communication and transparency.
A comment who has no official title with the company that I am aware of begin to insert themselves in the conversation going as far as to deny that scout has ever done anything wrong.
Being my thread, I asked the poster what was their official title and was ignored while they responded to other people.
They spoke of a team that they were part of, and I asked who were the members of the team.
The poster was confronted with the truth of the situations that many Creator ‘s face dealing with scout right now.
The poster who we will not name at this time due to it just being more confusion to an already Complex and convoluted situation I do not think has any official capacity. However, they did accuse Richard from Bleeding Cool of not reaching out for comment which after a follow up, I can tell you is simply not the truth and have confirmed this with Ricard.
Now to the posters credit scout might’ve just ignored this like the many emails that have been sent to them both by the press and the creators that are affected by the decisions and mis steps of the publisher.
My simple but honest questions that simple where follow up questions in a group that is supposed to be for creators to communicate, led to me being banned by someone who does not hold a single credit with scout Comics as a Creator.
This is how Scout treats its creators. If you ask questions you’ll be blocked.
This person who wants to play PR only made this situation sadly worse.
I know many creators affected by the actions of scout are deeply concerned as am I.
Our creations are like our children and for many of us we feel like our children are being held and treated poorly as the situation develops further I will update all.
