What would you do if one day you woke up in the middle of desert. You have no clue who or even what you are. You find yourself pursued by a mysterious corporation for crimes you have no memory of committing. This is the world our hero ‘Jyle” has woken up into.
Project Axis is a comic long in the making. It’s influences stem from one widely known movie and an obscure tv show. The Bourne Identity is the primary influence on the book. The loss of ones very “Identity” is a fear that rests deep within us all. I set out to explore this concept in addition to it’s theme of lost memories and skills coming back to you when you need them most intrigued me. This theme was also present in the other influence “Kyle XY”where the hero is first presented in an almost infantile state while having the body of young man.
