I am having a meeting with Anastasia Varnalis-Weigle , Caribou Library Director to talk about some future events to follow up our fun we had with the Creative Workshop on July 6th.
This is an opportunity for the public to get involved, first in social media, but eventually more in person. We want to encourage creativity in the community as the arts are a skill to express yourself as well as create satisfying imaginative interaction. These are great social skills and makes an opportunity for friends to be made. Also, our library is a great place to encourage this, a safe environment that is supervised to do so, with a wealth of creative material at your fingertips!
In short, we want to do more creative events to encourage the public to support, as well as a new addition, with tabletop gaming, RPG games of various content, and hopefully some storytelling times with new releases.
If we don’t use this library people, there will be no incentive for the city to fund it, this is a FACT. I mean I am not looking to line my pockets. You don’t get rich doing free events. If you are skeptic of a Palmer (I am solid but whatevs), then pitch or organize your own. Get in contact with Tassy at the Library, she is amazing and passionate about her work for our community.
Thanks again for your support Rob Andersin! I believe in what we are doing with the studio super hero publishing push, and these community events are things I can do to spread positive messages of creativity without money or limited funds. Thank you for everything, we love this work and it is hard to do alone. With support, we can continue to do and show amazing things to lovers of heroism near for now, but eventually branch out.
