Today marks the 15th day of the campaign and we are still going strong. We are just at the halfway point, so we are moving along nicely. I just wanted to give everyone some great news and changes about the kickstarter.
1) $20 tier: I’ve added a $20 tier for the physical copy of the book. I was lucky to find a better printing option, so I’m now able to offer this to everyone that’s interested.
2) $35 tier: For everyone that has pledged at the $35 level or better, the $20 tier benefits you also. Now along with the trade you are going to receive physical copies of “Whyte & Wong” #1 written and drawn by Ricky Eaddy and “Joshuan Somewhere” written by Dennis Nancarrow and drawn by Larry Haines. So now for the same pledge you’re getting a trade and 2 books for the same price!
3) Stretch Goals: Since we’ve hit the halfway point, I figured it’s time to update the stretch goals. There are currently 3 stretch goals, but more are planned depending on how it goes.
$4000 – Variant cover of the trade by Dan Fraga. Dan Fraga started his career at Image comics and later went on to do work for Marvel and DC comics. As time went on he did work for MTV, HBO and Toy companies. I am lucky that Dan as offered his services in creating an EXTREME cover if we hit this mark.
$5000 – Artist pin up gallery. A variety of artist and painters will be providing pin ups to go along with the trade.
$8500 – Hardcover. A hardcover will replay the paper cover for each physical copy of the book.
