Skies Over Superior is a comic book about Merilee Fite, a girl facing ghosts and monsters on the icy shores of Lake Superior.

But it’s also about the strength of family and crushing effects of depression and mental illness.

But it’s also about power of music, and the power of stories, to bring people together.

But, it’s also about the power of monsters to crush and tear people apart.

Music is an important part of Skies Over Superior
Many of the answers that Merilee seeks are inn her father’s music, and the folk music of Northern Michigan.
So, we reached out and got some amazing music from RickoLus and Opal Puckett’s Jonathan Pardo.

Once we got that ball rolling, we just couldn’t stop it. The story, the songs, and the art just kept on inspiring each other. The art will feature original pieces by Laura Bearl, Christie Shinn, and Shawn Langley.
