Do this by updating your goals. The MIN you hit a GOAL MAKE A NEW ONE. When we started this site it we had a lot of other site that do cover indie stuff in-between mainstream click bait. Failure was almost guaranteed. We starred out slow. We found small success doing just interviews. We could have patted our self on our BACKS and kept being small minded. WE didn’t, we have always wanted to know what we can do next that no one else has DONE or how we can do it better. IN FACT today there is something big we are gonna announce. Thats later.
We never STOP. We also are honest. We don’t keep doing what does not work. We always adjust with our Readers and more importantly we respect the voice of the users. Perfect EXAMPLE: The look of the site has changed 5 time now. With each time the reason wasn’t just about the looks, it was about performance. How easy it is to use and how fast it loads. We have gone from a miserable 17 seconds to load to 1.7 seconds. We simply never accepted 17 seconds was good enough.
Even with Drawing. 5 years ago I could not Draw. 5 years later I still can not draw, but I can make sketches that people understand now. Why? Because I never accepted I couldn’t or that I could not be better.
