The Creative Process:: Time Off due to Life and world events :: A Throw BacK Thread

A huge lesson to be learned in life is timing is very important.  Many noticed not done any interview for a few weeks.  We base our this decision on scheduling and time of year VS elections.  Learning from the Retail sales calendar can show many of you something you might not now.  There are peaks and vales with how people act.  Things like elections can also effect social media awareness,.  Looking Back over the last few weeks its clear we made the right call.  Starting next week we will resume interviews. We resume normal functions.  This has proved to be a bad of the year for Kick starters.  From retail here is some advice for good month and Bad months

Good Months for kickstarters

Feb Due to valentines day and Taxes starting to come in money start being spent

March

April begin the swing into spring and people becomes optimistic

May start summer and Summer is the BEST time for Social media.  Vacations and the idea of summer fun seem to cause Social media awareness.

BAD Months

Fall and Winter are a struggle.

Sept back to school keeps people busy

Oct Halloween and people trying to get in the last of outdoor actives in seems to cause a slow down

Nov Thanks giving gives a boost towards the end of the month that Dec caries and it is a good time to do social media not Kickstarters

Jan is a hit or miss.  DEPENDS on Month.  Kickstarters could work or might fail.  The somewhat depends on how much people spent and the outlook.  If its called a bad season people tend to spend less so read the tea leafs.

Now the Creative Process is going to no longer be daily.  We are choosing Content over schedule.  As we have things to share we will.  it could look daily at times.  but we do not want to do anything repetitive or rush Ideas just to make a quota.
