CROWS OF WHERE?
Mana’Olana – a small town in the Honolulu Mountains region (what was once Hawaii). That’s where the bedtime story about giant Crows that kidnap children in the silent of night comes from. Oh and while they are taking the kids, they also shred the grown-ups to pieces
.
The Crows are not very friendly… they are quite scary actually and exactly the sort of folklore Red loves to investigate and stop it.
The Few and Cursed is the ideal book for any Western, Adventure or Supernatural fan!
THAT SOUNDS AWESOME! AND HOW MANY ISSUES ARE PLANNED?
The Crows of Mana’Olana story will be told in six (6) issues – each with 32 fully colored pages in standard comic book format 6’625 x 10’25.
The first three have already been published thanks to the amazing support of many of you guys and we plan on kickstarting the final three in 2018 – starting with this one.
A quick synopsis for newcomers:
Issue #1 introduces the Redhead to readers as we get to see her chase a local Indian myth, the Tsilkali, a giant snake preying on the small town of Mountain Ville, California.
In Issue #2 we follow the Redhead to the border of San Andreas and see her first meeting with a 94-year old survivor of The Reaping, Jebediah Younger. They team up to cross the Pacific after the Crows of Mana’Olana and learn how real they really are… and how dangerous.
In the next installment of the series, Issue #3, the Redhead and Jebediah finally make it to Mana’Olana. In a flashback story, readers will experience firsthand what the Redhead is truly capable of.
Last but not least, Issue #4 features the very first big battle with the Crows in Mana’Olana. We also go deeper in Red’s fatherly relationship with Jebediah and unravel some of his background.
