Today is the last issue of CBA or last post.
It has been an honor to ADVOCATE for so many Great Creators. Times have changed as have the needs of the industry. CBA accomplished helping so many Creators in so many way. However the needs of the industry have changed so Very Much in that last 4 years and even how we consume media has changed. So we are saying good bye to CBA.
The ADVOCATING I personal did (Mister AnderSiN) made me a better person. I meet so many wonder creators, and I will continue to advocate for creators as long as I Live. It is time for other voices to do the work I did and I hope I forever changed how we advocate for comics.
Here are lessons I learned on this Journey I want to share with others:
FOUCS on you NEEDS 1st: While this may sounds selfish it is the air plane mask. I spent so much time helping other, and focusing on my son I did not pay enough attention to myself. I ignored my health, at time my works and suffered while helping others. I spent way to much on others dreams and did not take better care of my finical future. So in short; always share other works its free, in fact talk about it if it impressed you.
Buy more PDFs on kickstarter if you just want to support creators, as most of these books will never have any value. Trust me I just went through my comic book collection and have a 100 plus books no one will buy. 90 percent of creators launched one book and disappeared when they didn’t hit right away. Save the money and buy books after you read a PDF on a second issue when they really figured out the basics.
Be a PEAR:
Stand Up for what’s right even it will cost you. How can we write about heroes while we act as cowards and villains. So Many people deceiver to be called out, not canceled and allowed to correct bad behaviors. Remember people will do bad things if no one calls them out. It is ok in life to hold people accountable.
No matter how much you “trust” a person, read the contracts you sign and have another person read it for you that you trust that isn’t connected. If you sign with a publish have Gamal read it for you:

Forget get a Website build a social media following. Website cost money to run, It would be better to buy a Url that you can redirect to a single place you are doing well with building .
Help other when you can.
NEVER GIVE UP!!!!
