Do you think the recent controversy about Mystique being chocked by Apocalypse was warranted or just people making noise over nothing ?I think it was one person of questionable notoriety attempting to ride the agenda of a popular ideology in order to try to promote her new project and try to attain relevance in a culture that has forgotten her. Getting on a soapbox preaching nonexistent virtues is a good publicity stunt nowadays.

Name a villain you would love to use in a story if given the permission?
Magneto. After accidentally spending a year in a cult, I’d love to write a story about Magneto being brainwashed by the Nazis before ultimately realizing the hypocrisy of their ideology.
What about cons do you dislike the most?I can’t think of anything I dislike about cons. Maybe the price of tabling at bigger ones. But mostly it’s just hard to stay at my table because I just want to walk around, look, and buy.
What is your ultimate goal for your creations? Movies and toys or something else?
I wanna make stuff that people dig and make a good living at it. I used to look at cartoons and comics and just think “I wanna be able to do that!” I just had to be able to make cool stuff to look at. I want to do that for a kid.
Do you think women are exploited in comic books ? In the industry? Yes. In the content? Sometimes. I think the industry has been very unfair to women and I’m glad to see that turning around, even if I don’t always agree with some of the blaring megaphones of cottage celebrity.
What is your favorite Character ever created?
Frank Balon in Special Edition. He’s based on my dad. You can download the 52 page one-shot for that book in high res at the links below, as well as some other stuff.
What is the worst character every created in comics?
I kinda like all my characters that have been published or self-published. I think my execution could have been better on some of my early stuff, but they’re all my babies.
