If you’re on the ComixLaunch newsletter list, it’s a safe bet that you’re someone who is creating art in the world and building audiences to support your endeavors… and that means you’re a creative business.
To succeed, every creative business needs a PLATFORM, a way to get seen and heard by the people who matter most to us:
Our fans and customers.
Now, platform can mean a lot of things to a lot of people…
But this week, given the upcoming changes required by the new GDPR regulations, I’m focusing on just 4 main platform pillars that are most affected by GDPR, aka the BIG FOUR:
1. Your Website
2. Your Email Marketing Service
3. Your Landing Page Builder
4. Your Online Shop
If you’re trying to grow a large following and build a financially successful creative business, you should have ALL of the above.
Now, I recognize that some of you may only have a few of those elements at this stage of your biz.
(That’s okay… now is a great opportunity to add what you’re missing!)
And some of you may have one tool that’s wearing multiple hats.
For example, your website is also your online shop.
Or your email marketing service has landing pages built in.
(That MIGHT be fine, or you might discover there are better solutions out there for you to be using.)
Some of you may have none of the above yet, and if that’s you, you’re in luck, because this challenge is going to be super easy and super valuable.
For you, now might be the PERFECT time to finally start taking your creative business as seriously as you’d like the world to take it, and put some of the crucial pieces in place.
It’ll also be a good opportunity to see what tools other creators are using to build their creative businesses.
(I’ve also included tool recommendations in the RESOURCE GUIDE.)
How does this connect to GDPR?
The GDPR requires us to take action in a few places by May 24th, as the new law kicks in May 25.
And the places that are affected by GDPR just happen to be on our WEBSITES, ONLINE SHOPS, LANDING PAGES & EMAIL MARKETING SERVICES.
If you’d like help making these changes, I’d love to invite you to join me and a few hundred creators inside the latest ComixLaunch Challenge, where we’ll be cleaning up our fan lists and getting GDPR compliant!

Even if you don’t join us, though, I’ve decided to share with you thus Recommended Resources Guide I pulled together for challengers.
