The Creative Process: Ad Share
What would everyone thing about swapping ad spaces with other creators? This could be an exciting program for everyone to be part of.
Now of course a few things to consider
1 is the Creator you are swapping with have a similar following? If you are writing Horror should you swap with someone writing about the power of unicorns? Probably not.
2 Fan base comparisons. Now this is tricky. You don’t want to get in a instants pissing contest. So I will say this you should never ask for a swap with a person you cant offer a fare trade with, unless you or they are ok with.
3 The Quality of Work. Yes this matters. If you arent at the same level as the person swapping this is can be an issue. Again have an honest and open discussion. If you are at a lower level be humble and if you are at a higher level remember where you came from.
4 this is important don’t swap with people in your same area. BE Smart if you are in Florida reach out to NYC. In St. Louis reach out to a Seattle Creator. Maybe you are a Cali Baby so get with Big and Proud Texan. Get the point?
